North Hill House

Last year Focus in on Life was very pleased to be able to support North Hill House School in Frome in the purchase of tools to carry out bicycle repairs and maintenance. We were thrilled when later in the year we received the following update from the school concerning one of the pupils -

”Nathan has completed work on bikes and scooters using the tools and took several of the scooters to a local Primary school to complete demonstrations of the repairs and also to then show off his skills. This proved to be a big hit with the primary school pupils and a real confidence boost for Nathan. As you can see from the attached picture showing Nathan and Dame Kelly Holmes at the completion of The Unlocking Potential Programme Nathan was successful in completing the criteria set out and thanks to the money from the charity which has supported the programme.”
